    I can’t believe that my show is on Friday, January 18 from 6-10pm. I’ve been working on it for the past couple of months and I still feel that I’m not ready. Hoping for a day with clear sunny skies and no rain so I can process my last print. The past weekend I spent the day with two friends (Melissa Harper and Carla Chanem) setting up my show.     Experimenting with cyanotype in anticipation for my show in January “The Wonders of Nature”. I love the process of this media. Sometimes I can work all day and print one jem, other days I can print all day and the results is amazing. Order and received the cyanotype brown tone solution and I can’t wait to print with

  • October 2018
    My prints arrived! When I was at Te Kowhai Print Trust this past summer, I enter the International Print Exchange in England with Virginia Guy and (getting the name). For this exchange we had to submit a 10 run print of original work. I submitted a solar plate print title “Bison” from a photo I took while visiting Colossal Cave.

    I have fun memories of working with Virginia for two days to get our prints done. Let’s just say there was an alarm malfunction, panic phone calls on a rainy night that resulted in several drives from and to the studio. 

    I’m officially an Kiwi and will be working on another entry for submission later this year.

    During this month I was took a printmaking workshop that allow me that opportunity to just play. In playing I worked on creating some monotype prints. This gave me the opportunity to explore design elements and ideas freely hoping that the element might morph into a print that showed
